(WNFL) – As the Wisconsin Badgers wrapped up their 2016 recruiting class on Wednesday, the football team announced a position change for Leon Jacobs. Starting with spring drills, Jacobs will make the transition from inside linebacker to running back. Jacobs is expected to play the same role that Alec Ingold had in 2015 after he also moved from linebacker to running back. Running backs coach John Settle said Jacobs will have a role as a fullback and will compete with Ingold and Austin Ramesh as the Badgers try to replace Derek Watt.
