Shawano County, WI (WTAQ) – Icy road conditions are believed to be at least partly responsible for a deadly crash this morning on Highway 55 in Shawano County.
Police on the scene say a woman has died in this crash. The crash involved a semi and a car…and happened near Beauprey Road and Highway 29.
The driver of the tanker was not hurt.
Travel is being re-routed in the area as the investigation into the crash continues.
Many roads in northeast Wisconsin have ice on the pavement and could be treacherous in places.
