MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – A man has been arrested after a burglary attempt in Manitowoc overnight.
Manitowoc Police say they were called to Earth Sense Energy Systems, 835 S. 29th Street, around 12:25 a.m. Saturday. The caller reported hearing a loud noise and seeing someone suspicious just outside the pellet stove dealer.
Officers arrived to see a man trying to leave the building, but then go back inside when he saw the cops. The man was arrested without incident after getting help from K9 units.
The suspect is being held on a probation hold. He’s facing charges of burglary, criminal damage to property, and obstructing an officer.
Officers also arrested the suspect’s 40-year-old girlfriend, because she had an active warrant.
