MILWAUKEE (WTAQ) – Four Wisconsin Walmart locations are among 269 stores being closed by the biggest big-box retailer in the world.
Walmart says it will focus its efforts on strengthening Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets, growing online sales and expanding pickup services.
The Wisconsin stores closing are in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, Menomonee Falls and Waukesha.
About 10,000 Walmart employees will be impacted by the cuts.
154 of the stores being closed are in the U.S.
