GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – Charges were filed against a Green Bay man in connection with the stabbing of his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend.
Matthew Gregory is facing a charge of aggravated battery, after he and Wayne Fredich argued and scuffled leading to Gregory stabbing Fredich. Police say the injuries were not life-threatening.
The fight took place at a home on Oakwood Drive back on January 2.
On Tuesday, a judge set Gregory’s bond at $50,000 cash. Online court records indicate that the balance of his initial appearance is set for January 20.
Green Bay police initially requested attempted homicide charges.
