(WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers have traded away both of their first basemen in the last week, sending Adam Lind to Seattle and yesterday, trading Jason Rogers to the Pirates for a pair of minor league prospects. Rogers was expected to be next in line at first base after the Lind deal, but Brewers general manager David Stearns says he couldn’t turn down the potential returns. The Brewers 40-man roster stands at 37 players. It’s safe to say one of those spots will be used by a first baseman, either through a trade or free agent signing.
Who’s on first? Brewers don’t know
