Town of Winneconne, WI (WTAQ) – Two people were killed in a fire in Winnebago County.
Sheriff’s officials say crews were called to 5565 Crystal Ct. in the Town of Winneconne just after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies found the house engulfed in flames.
Once firefighters put the fire out and got inside, they found the bodies of two people.
Officials say they are still working to identify the victims and notify relatives.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to investigate.
