(WNFL) – Marquette forward Henry Ellenson was named the Big East freshman of the Week on Monday after averaging 17.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists in wins over San Jose State and Wisconsin. Playing in his first true road game, Ellenson scored 15 points and pulled down eleven rebounds in Saturday’s win over the Badgers, marking his fifth double-double in ten games. Ellenson is currently ranked in the top 10 among collegiate freshmen in scoring at 16.5 points per game. His selection as Big East freshman of the week was his second of the season.
