APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – A wrongful death suit has been filed by the mother of a 25-year-old man who was killed two years ago at a former nightclub in Appleton.
Jacquelyn Pische of Gillett filed her civil suit in Outagamie County Circuit Court, where the alleged killer is scheduled to stand trial on 7 felony charges.
30-year old Chong Lee of Appleton is the defendant in the wrongful death suit. The victim’s mother seeks unspecified damages.
Lee is accused of shooting Joshua Richards at the former Luna Lounge.
A two-week trial is scheduled to begin February 24th on charges of homicide, illegal firearm possession, perjury before a judge, and four counts of intimidating witnesses.
