OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – The man accused of setting fire to an Oshkosh warehouse will stand trial.
28-year-old Jeremy Neumann is charged with a count of arson for the November 6 fire at a Bowen Street facility. Online court records did not list an arraignment date.
The criminal complaint details that police used data from his GPS to tie Neumann to the scene of the fire. Neumann operates a business there called Gambit McDermott LLC.
Investigators say Neumann’s clothes was consistent with images captured on security cameras. He denied that he went to the fire scene that night.
Also, Neumann filed an insurance claim the day after the fire.
Back on October 28, Neumann contacted his insurance agency to increase his business liability coverage from $100,000 to $130,000.
