(WNFL) -The Wisconsin men’s hockey team announced the signing of five players to National Letters of Intent today, including former Green Bay Notre Dame standout defensemen Tony Stillwell. Mike Eaves also received signed letters from forwards Dan Labosky of Edina, Minnesota, Martin Sundberg of Linkoping, Sweden and Max Zimmer from Medina, Minnesota. Defensemen Jere Astren from Helsinki, Finland is the fifth recruit to sign with the Badgers. Stillwell has three assists in 14 games this season with the USHL’s Waterloo Blackhawks. He captured the 2015 Wisconsin Mr. Hockey award after scoring nine goals and 22 points in 19 games as a senior at Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay.
