MADISON, WI (WTAQ) – Gasoline prices are expecting to continue to drop in Wisconsin, offering the possibility of gas costing less than $2 a gallon for drivers during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Some gas stations in Beloit were already posting pump prices below $2 a gallon Friday. The statewide average is $2.29.
The state is already seeing some of the lowest fuel prices in five years.
The savings at the pump don’t guarantee more people will hit the roads. In most cases, holiday travel plans have already been set in place.
