GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A police chase on Green Bay’s east side leads to a crash which caused a power outage Saturday night.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says troopers were pursuing a suspect when their vehicle slammed into a pole near the intersection of Main Street and Abrams Street around 10:30 p.m.
Authorities say the suspect got out of the car and ran off. The search for that suspect continues.
Police say it was later discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen on Friday to the Brown County Sheriff’s Department.
At its peak, the power outage affected more than 2,000 people. Power was restored completely at 1:25 a.m.
