MANITOWOC, WI (WTAQ) – A suspect is being sought in Manitowoc after police say they injured a child in a hit-and-run crash.
Police say it happened in the 900 block of S. 19th Street around 5 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say the child was crossing the street on a scooter and was struck by a black SUV.
The child suffered minor injuries.
Officers believe the vehicle’s turn signal light broke off during the crash.
