(WNFL) – Green Bay Packers’ coach Mike McCarthy says he hears “frustration” from his players on offense, but he does not see a reason to make wholesale changes. The Packers have only averaged almost 18 points in their last four games. After Sunday night’s loss at Denver, Green Bay fell to 28th among the 32 NFL teams in total offense with 332 yards a game. They only amassed 140 against the Broncos. Aaron Rodgers’ 77 passing yards were the lowest since 2006, when Brett Favre and Rodgers were both injured in a home game against New England in which they combined for 76 yards in a 35-nothing pasting by the Patriots. After the Denver loss, Rodgers says the six-and-one Packers need to do something different schematically, while guard T-J Lang called for more creativity on offense. McCarthy hears the frustrations, but says the Packers are not executing — and there’s more to be concerned about than schemes. The Green Bay players are off today. They’ll play at undefeated Carolina on Sunday.
