HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities in Brown County need your help finding the men behind the beating of a 66-year-old Howard man with a golf club.
The Brown County Sheriff’s Department has released sketches of the persons of interest in this case.
Deputies say the attack happened on July 12th around 6 p.m. as the man was walking through his neighborhood. They say a car pulled up and two men got out. One of those men was armed with a golf club, and severely beat the victim.
The victim has undergone surgery for his injuries.
Investigators say they were able to find the car believed to be involved 2 days later. While searching the vehicle, deputies found a golf club and some of the victim’s property.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
