HOWARD, WI (WTAQ) – Authorities in Brown County say a diesel tanker rolled over in a roundabout Friday morning in Howard.
Sheriff’s deputies say it happened on the top of the off-ramp from Interstate 41 northbound to Lineville Road.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says about 40 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from the Garrow Oil tanker. The spill was contained and crews were called in for environmental cleanup.
Officials say the driver of the tanker is okay.
The ramp and Lineville Road over I-41 were closed to traffic for several hours.
