(WNFL) Talladega, AL – NASCAR’s Chase for the Sprint Cup continues on Sunday at Talladega. Matt Kenseth of Cambridge will be eliminated from title contention unless he wins the Camping World-Dot-Com 500. Starting positions will be determined tomorrow (Saturday). Kenseth is 12th-and-last in the Chase standings after sub-par performances the last two weeks. He needs to jump at least four places in order to advance to the third round which starts next weekend. Paul Menard of Eau Claire, Travis Kvapil of Janesville, and Beloit-born Danica Patrick are also entered, although they’re not in the running for the championship. The Camping World Truck Series returns with the Fred’s-250 at Talladega tomorrow (Saturday). Johnny Sauter of Necedah and Kvapil are both entered. Sauter is fourth in the truck series’ standings with 650 points, 51 behind first-place Eric Jones. The NASCAR Xfinity Series is off this weekend.
It’s win or else for Matt Kenseth and his NASCAR title hopes
