Green Bay, WI (WTAQ) -This weekend closed the books on another year at a better than century old Green Bay tradition.
Bay Beach Amusement Park continues to bring out big crowds to picnic and go for a spin on the popular rides.
Green Bay Facilities manager Jason Arnoldi says new passenger trains at the park were very popular this year…they’re hoping to add two more in 2016.
Two other rides that appeals to kids and adults are in the works for next year as well.
The Zippin Pippin continues to be the most popular ride. And then, there’s the growing interest in re-opening a public beach for swimming.
Mayor Jim Schmitt says it could happen within 3 years.
