Lomira, WI, (WTAQ) – Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the man driving a car that rolled
over on I-41 in the Town of Lomira Sunday was under the influence.
Three young children were seriously injured ending up at Children’s Hospital in
Milwaukee; two of them were ejected from the car.
Schmidt says the driver was under the influence, but not through alcohol use.
Schmidt says there were three children’s car seats in the vehicle, but the
two children that were ejected were improperly restrained.
The children were 6 months, 1 year and 3-years-old. The driver and a
female passenger suffered minor injuries.
