CHICAGO (WTAQ) – It turns out that many Americans had no problem with one of the most controversial things Governor Scott Walker said during his presidential campaign.
41 percent in a new poll from Bloomberg Politics say a wall should be built at the U.S.-Canadian border.
The Republican Walker created a firestorm when he answered a question about the subject on “Meet the Press” recently.
Walker said he heard concerns about problems at the country’s northern border, and a Canadian wall was worth studying. He later clarified the comment, to say he was against such a wall along the 5,000 mile northern border.
The Bloomberg poll also says a similar 41 percent agree with putting a wall across the southern border at Mexico.
