Green Bay, WI (WNFL) – The third exhibition game is normally when the starters build up some endurance by playing well into the third quarter. But the Packers could be without three of its five top offensive linemen for Saturday night’s home contest against Philadelphia. Guard T-J Lang is expected to miss the game with a concussion from last Sunday’s loss at Pittsburgh. Guard Josh Sitton hurt an ankle against the Steelers. And left tackle David Bahktiari is still getting over a knee issue from before the pre-season opener. Don Barclay, Lane Taylor, and Josh Walker filled in with the Number-One O-line at practice yesterday. The injuries could limit Aaron Rodgers’ playing time at quarterback. Backup Scott Tolzien could miss Saturday’s contest with a concussion, leaving rookie Brett Hundley and Matt Blanchard with most of the quarterbacking duties. McCarthy says both will get at least some time against Philly’s Number-One defense.
