(WNFL) – Dennis Prunty put on a dominating performance to win the Slinger Nationals’ stock car race at the Slinger Speedway. He started fifth in last night’s 199-lap feature, and he led for all but ten laps. Sixty-seven year old Conrad Morgan finished second. Former NASCAR driver Lowell Bennett from Neenah placed 13th in a race he won five previous times. NASCAR Truck Series’ standout Johnny Sauter placed 20th with a suspension problem. Former NASCAR truck racer Rich Bickle of Edgerton placed 22nd, after getting tangled up with Bennett early. And Ross Kenseth of Appleton, son of NASCAR champion Matt Kenseth, was 24th-and-last. His car had rear-end failure.
