DE PERE, WI (WTAQ) – De Pere police are investigating a credit union robbery that took place Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say a man walked into the Unison Credit Union, 900 Main Ave., around 3:30 p.m. and demanded cash.
De Pere police said in a news release Tuesday night that the man fled on a bicycle after credit union staff gave him an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as white, late 30s or early 40s, between 5’10” and 6 feet tall and weighing between 170 and 200 pounds. Police released surveillance images of the suspect, which you can see above.
Authorities say it’s the second robbery in that area this week. On July 5, a man robbed a gas station in the 800 block of Main Ave. of an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.
