APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – New leadership has been announced at the Salvation Army of the Fox Cities.
Majors David and Shanda Minks are the new corps officers, replacing retiring Majors Ed and Marge Jarvis.
The Minks moved to the Appleton area last month after serving in Evansville, Indiana. The couple has three children.
David Minks has a degree in social work from Eastern Michigan University and has experience working as a social worker in a homeless shelter. Shanda Minks worked with a mobile meals program before joining The Salvation Army.
