APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) – Jury selection got underway in Outagamie County Wednesday for the murder trial of Alejandro Silva.
In August 2013, Silva and Kamewan Salzman got into a fight outside Benderz Bar in Oneida. According to witnesses, Silva was seen taking a gun from another man and firing four shots at Salzman.
If convicted of the first-degree intentional homicide charge, Silva faces life in prison.
The trial is expected to last through all of next week, with opening statements scheduled for Thursday.
