Cedar Rapids scratched across a run with two outs in the top of the ninth and beat the Wisconsin TimberRattlers 3-2 Wednesday night at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium. The loss drops Wisconsin to 2-5 in the Midwest League’s second half. The Kernals have owned the Rattlers this season, going 11-1 against Wisconsin including 9 for 9 in Grand Chute. Wisconsin hits the road Thursday night with a date against Beloit and the Snappers.
