MARINETTE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Marinette County authorities continue to investigate a one-vehicle crash that killed a teenager and injured two others.
Sheriff’s deputies said the vehicle lost control on a curve late Saturday night. It veered into a ditch and rolled over.
A 17-year-old boy died at the scene. Two others, ages 17 and 18, were flown to a Green Bay hospital. Their conditions were not disclosed.
Investigators said speed was a contributing factor.
Meantime in Racine County, a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with an SUV. It happened on Saturday afternoon in Wind Point.
Authorities said the biker was a 66-year-old man from Caledonia. A 79-year-old man who was driving the SUV escaped injury, along with an 18-year-old female passenger.
That crash remains under investigation.
