Green Bay, WI (WTAQ) – It could be an easier time for boarding your next flight out of Austin Straubel International Airport.
The T-S-A announcing the start of pre-boarding operations at Austin Straubel.
It’s an expedited screening program that allows registered flyers to leave on their shoes, light jackets, belts, and keep laptops in their case.
Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach calls it a great benefit for frequent flyers.
You need to pre-enroll online at tsa.gov . From there, you’ll go to an application center in Green Bay to provide additional information.
Once the paperwork is cleared, travelers will be able to utilize TSA Pre-Lanes at participating airports and on 11 major airlines.
Green Bay becomes one of 145 airports around the country offering this service. The “pre-lane” will only be open at Austin Straubel during the busiest times of the day.
