(WNFL)- The Brewers’ tribute to their first owner, Bud Selig, will open to fans tonight at Miller Park. Dignitaries from baseball and Wisconsin sports got a sneak preview of the Selig Experience last night. The multi-media attraction highlights Selig’s role in bringing Major League Baseball back to Milwaukee in 1970 after the old Braves left for Atlanta plus his nearly quarter-century as the Brewers’ owner before he spent 22 years as baseball’s commissioner. The exhibit features numerous high-tech displays, and a replica of his office at the old Milwaukee County Stadium. Current Baseball Commissioner Rob Manfred was on hand for last night’s preview along with Milwaukee baseball greats Hank Aaron, Robin Yount, and Joe Torre — Baseball Hall-of-Fame President Jeff Idelson — Packers’ president Mark Murphy and UW Madison athletic director Barry Alvarez — and current Brewers’ executives and players. Selig called the exhibit “magnificently done.” Fans can find on the 200-level of Miller Park in the left field corner.
