GREEN BAY,WI (WTAQ) – An early morning apartment fire on Green Bay’s eastside has destroyed the complex, and left about 70 people without a home.
The fire was reported just before midnight at the Sand & Sun apartments, 10-11 North Danz Avenue, and was out by 2:30.
No one was hurt and residents were moved to a shelter set-up at nearby Danz Elementary School.
Red Cross is helping fire victims.
The fire started in the basement, near the middle of the complex.
