(WNFL)- Green Bay has the top-seed in the Horizon League men’s tennis tournament which opens on Friday in West Lafayette Indiana. The Phoenix will try to defend the title it won a year ago. They went 6-0 in league play during the regular season, and they’re 16-7 overall. Six teams are in the tourney. Green Bay has a first-round bye to Saturday’s semi-finals. In the Horizon League women’s tourney, UW Milwaukee is seeded fifth in the Field-of-Six. The Panthers will play fourth-seeded Illinois-Chicago in the first round on Friday afternoon. Milwaukee went 4-4 in conference regular season play, and they’re 6-15 overall. Returning champion Youngstown State is the top women’s seed.
