Wausau, WI (WTAQ) – A state appeals court says it will not drop a judge’s order to make an Outagamie County travel club business pay four-point-six million dollars for misleading members.
Back in 2010, the state Justice Department accused Travel Services Incorporated of deceptive practices.
Members reportedly testified that the prize vouchers they received from their clubs were unusable and worthless.
Outagamie County Circuit Judge Dee Dyer told Travel Services to repay the members three-point-eight million dollars, and pay a forfeiture of 841-thousand dollars.
The company challenged the order.
