(WNFL)- Wisconsin point guard Traevon Jackson expects to play tonight, when the top-seeded Badgers play four seed North Carolina in a NCAA Sweet 16 contest in Los Angeles. Jackson said he took part in a full practice yesterday for the first time since he broke his right foot January 11th in a Badger loss at Rutgers. He was medically cleared last week, and the senior Jackson says there are “no limitations” on his footwork. However, UW associate head coach Greg Gard says Jackson is still rusty in both his physical and mental game. In his words, “He’s got to play a little faster, and make decisions better.” Bronson Koenig has been a solid contributor in Jackson’s place so the UW is in no hurry to make a change. Still, we can expect to see Jackson get at least some playing time against the Tar Heels. Wisconsin comes in at 33-3. Carolina comes in at 26-11. Tonight’s winner will face either Arizona or Xavier on Saturday for a chance to advance to the Final Four.
