OMAHA, Neb. (WSAU-Wheeler) — It’s the same third round of the N-C-A-A Men’s Basketball Tournament and the same two teams.
Today’s game will be played in Omaha instead of Milwaukee, but you can bet the Oregon Ducks have been thinking about the last time they took on the Wisconsin Badgers. Coach Bo Ryan’s team overcame a double-digit deficit in the second half to beat Oregon 85-77 and qualify for the Sweet 16. The Badgers went on a 25-9 and wiped out a 12-point lead the Ducks had held.
Number-eight seed Oregon beat Oklahoma State 79-73 to move on. Wisconsin was an 86-72 winner over Coastal Carolina.
Pregame starts this evening at 5:30 pm.
