WEST BEND, WI (WTAQ) – A West Bend man has been sentenced to a year in jail for having sex with a 15-year-old girl, and injuring a police detective who questioned him about it.
Eric Graham, who’s now 27, pleaded guilty in January to a reduced felony count of third-degree sexual assault.
Four other charges were dropped in a plea deal with Washington County prosecutors — including child enticement, two child sexual assault counts, and injuring and resisting an officer.
Authorities said Graham found the girl on a dating Web site, where she claimed to be an adult at age 19. They had sex four times in 2013, once in front of a Webcam.
Two other men were sentenced earlier to six months in jail for sexual contact with the same teen.
Graham got into a scuffle with West Bend detectives when they questioned him on New Year’s Eve of 2013. One detective injured an ankle — and as part of his plea deal, Graham is paying over 34-hundred dollars for the officer’s medical bills.
Graham will spend 5 years on probation once he leaves jail.
