OSHKOSH, Wis. (WSAU) — The Oshkosh man that died after a snowboarding accident will be buried Saturday.
29-year-old Aaron Orr landed on his head after executing a jump at Granite Peak Ski Area in Rib Mountain, near Wausau. He died of a severe head injury February 26th.
Orr was an computer programmer and an experienced snowboarder, and he was wearing a helmet when the accident occurred. His funeral is at the LDS Church in Neenah starting at 11:00 a.m.
Orr is survived by his wife Jamie and their three young children, seven-year-old Lucy, four-year-old Benny, and four-month old Elenora, plus his parents and siblings. Orr’s organs were donated to several recipients.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to college funds for the children. Donations can be made online.
