GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A crash in downtown Green Bay has caused a power outage to the area.
Green Bay police say a utility pole was damaged in the crash at Main and Jackson streets.
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area for the rest of the afternoon.
Traffic lights on Main Street are currently out between N. Baird Street and Monroe Avenue.
According to Wisconsin Public Service’s outage map, more than 600 customers are without power.
A tweet by WPS just after 4 p.m. indicates that crews expect to restore power within an hour.
