(WNFL)- The Milwaukee Bucks will keep veteran forward Kenyon Martin for the rest of the season. The Journal Sentinel reports that the 37-year-old Martin will sign a contract today, the same day his second and last 10-day offer expires. Coach Jason Kidd has said he likes Martin’s versatility on the Bucks’ front line but he has only had limited minutes. Martin has averaged 1.3 points a game, along with 1.1 rebounds. He did play 12 minutes in Milwaukee’s seven point victory at Miami on Tuesday night, with two points and three boards. Meanwhile, the Bucks signed point guard Jorge Gutierrez yesterday to a 10-day contract. He was averaging 15 points and six assists with Canton of the NBA Developmental League. Gutierrez played last season under coach Kidd at Brooklyn. He’s expected to be available tonight, when the Bucks close out a three game road trip at Orlando.
