GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – A Green Bay church organized a march across the Walnut Street bridge Monday morning to mark the 50th anniversary of the Selma to Montgomery march in Alabama.
It was followed by a program commemorating Martin Luther King Day at Divine Temple Church of God in Christ. The program included a speech, local choirs and entertainment.
The theme for today’s event was “Building Bridges, Building Dreams.”
