SHAWANO COUNTY, WI (WTAQ) – Shawano County man was killed in a log hauling accident.
According to sheriff’s deputies, 75-year-old John Ballbach of Gresham was loading logs onto a pickup truck when the vehicle began to move.
He tried stopping the pickup, but it hit a tree — and Ballbach was pinned between the tree and an open truck door.
The accident was reported a little before 2 p.m. Thursday.
