(WNFL)- The Milwaukee Bucks won’t play again until Thursday afternoon, when they’re in London to take on the New York Knicks in the NBA’s “Global Games” event. Bucks’ assistant coach Joe Prunty has been the head coach of Great Britain’s national basketball team for the past two years. He says the sport is growing throughout Great Britain and all of Europe. The Bucks have three international players who are especially looking forward to appearing at the “O2” Arena, where the 2012 Olympics were staged. Forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, from Greece, says it will be great to get back to Europe although he’s never been to London. Center Zaza Pachulia is from the Georgia Republic, and forward Ersan Ilyasova is from Turkey. Ilyasova says the team will get to see a different atmosphere. The Bucks plan to do at last some sight-seeing. They’ve also got two practices scheduled in London, along with a visit to the Chelsea Football Club and a basketball clinic Wednesday put on by the NBA Cares charity program.
