Joe Rudolph will return to Madison to become the offensive coordinator for new Badgers football coach Paul Chryst. An offensive lineman for the Badgers in the 1990’s, Rudolph coached Wisconsin tight ends under Brett Bielema and joined Chryst at the University of Pittsburgh to be his offensive coordinator the past three years with the Panthers. He’ll succeed Andy Ludwig who left after Gary Anderson resigned to take the Oregon State job. Ludwig was hired at Vanderbilt for the same position.
