WAUKESHA, WI (WTAQ) – A West Allis man is accused of recording women while they used the bathroom on the UW-Waukesha campus.
22-year-old student Jacob Laurishke told police he shot video of women going to the bathroom a couple of times a day for about 3 weeks last spring.
He is now charged with criminal invasion of privacy, which could land him in jail for 9 months.
Students on campus spoke with local media, and while they were angry about the invasion of privacy, they were more upset that they were not informed about the incident when it happened.
School officials won’t say whether Laurishke is still a student at UW-Waukesha, but they did admit to not notifying other students about the case.
