ONALASKA, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) – A Onalaska man is in custody after authorities seized more than $20,000 worth of drugs from his home and car.
Police arrested 32-year-old Deante House Sr., and recovered over 100 grams of meth along with powder cocaine, crack, heroin, marijuana, a loaded semi-automatic handgun, and $4,800 in cash from the home in the 400 block of Johnson Street.
Investigators searched his girlfrield’s house and car on East Avenue and seized an additional $25,000 cash and more heroin and cocaine. 21-year-old Kindred Foster of Onalaska was also taken into custody.
House is also a suspect in two other drug cases, including one incident in Illinois where he was pulled over and state troopers found meth, heroin and cocaine in his car.
LaCrosse Police Chief Ron Rischer issued a statement: “Individuals like this have a negative impact on the quality of life for the whole area. By arresting this individual we have hopefully made La Crosse, Onalaska and the community as a whole safer.”
He’s being held on $50,000 cash bond.
