MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) A nationwide drug and money-laundering investigation has netted 18 arrests in Milwaukee.
Federal, state, and local police also seized about $1.3-million, 50 pounds of marijuana, 13 guns, ten pounds of meth, two pounds of heroin and 31 kilograms of cocaine locally.
Another arrest was made in California. Two people who were indicted are still at large.
U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin Gregory Haanstad says the drug operation stretched from Mexico to California and into the Midwest.
