MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – A University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee professor is suing to keep his job. Anthony James Greene claims the university started the process of firing him after he reported being harassed by a colleague.
He filed a motion in Brown County Court, asking for an injunction to block any proceedings against him by school administrators. The court filing does not contain any information about the harassment allegations. The brief makes reference to “unwanted, unwelcome harassment” from another professor.
Greene has been a staff member at the school for at least a decade. He’s an associate professor of psychology with a specialty in memory research.
A UW-Milwaukee spokesperson would not comment on the lawsuit, and would not confirm if Greene was the subject of dismissal or disciplinary proceedings.
