The bench delivered a big night as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Detroit Pistons 102-89 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Monday night.
Greg Monroe led the charge of the reserves with 25 points and 13 rebounds. Michael Beasley hit 10 of 13 shots from the floor for his 23 points.
Milwaukee broke open the game by outscoring Detroit 28-15 in the second quarter, holding the Pistons to 34 first half points.
The Bucks have won back to back games to reach 24-30 on the season. They have one more before this weekend’s All-Star break in New Orleans. Milwaukee travels to Brooklyn Wednesday night to face a Nets team that lost it’s 13 consecutive game Monday night to Memphis, 112-103 and they have just nine wins on the season.
