OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ) – Oshkosh Police has identified the people involved in a Wednesday morning incident that left one person dead and another with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say 66-year-old Bonnie Tyson of Oshkosh was found dead in the 2300 block of Wisconsin Street from a gunshot wound to the head.
Officers located 66-year-old John Tyson of Oshkosh in the home with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was taken to the hospital, where he continues to recover from life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe this was an isolated case of domestic violence.
They are not seeking any suspects and do not believe there is any danger to the public.
An autopsy was performed on Bonnie Tyson Thursday at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Results are pending.
