MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks fell behind early and could not catch up as Charlotte picked up the 107-96 win Wednesday night at the Bradley Center. It was the opening game for both teams.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led Milwaukee with 31 points,nine rebounds and five assists but the Bucks were just 3 for 16 from 3-point range in the game.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist led the Hornets with 23 points and 14 rebounds.
Former Badger Frank Kaminsky missed the game for Charlotte with a strained right foot.
The Bucks return to action on Saturday night hosting the Brooklyn Nets.
